IIE Varsity College, Pretoria campus is looking for qualified individuals in the area of Supply Chain and Logistics to enhance the teaching and research capabilities within the Faculty of Management Studies.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The main objective of this role is to provide effective teaching and facilitation of academic programs, alongside all related academic responsibilities, including student engagement and support, to foster student achievement and learning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitating Lectures
  • Assessment and Marking
  • Providing Student Support

Required Competencies:

  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Excellent Organizational Skills
  • Effective Time Management

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

  • Honours degree in Supply Chain/Logistics Management; Business Management with a focus on: Logistics; Operations and Production Management; Warehousing; Integrated Logistics and Transport Management.

Alternatively:

  • Honours degree in a related field of Supply Chain/Logistics Management (e.g., Purchasing, Operations/Production, Inventory Management, Sustainable Management, Warehousing) with coursework in Supply Chain Management and Logistics up to the third-year level.

Minimum Work Experience:

  • Practical experience in Supply Chain/Logistics
  • Experience in Teaching or Lecturing

Working Conditions:

  • This position is classified as an Independent Contractor role.
