Position Overview
The IIE Varsity College, Pretoria campus, is looking for qualified individuals in Applied Humanities and Commerce to enhance the teaching and research capabilities within the Faculty of Management Studies.

Job Objective
The main objective of this role is to provide effective facilitation and lecturing on various qualifications, alongside all related academic activities aimed at fostering student engagement and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitation and Lecturing
  • Assessment and Marking
  • Student Support and Guidance

Required Competencies:

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Strong Organizational Abilities
  • Effective Time Management

Educational Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Applied Humanities or Commerce, with a focus on Strategic Innovation, Business Innovation, Innovation Management, Sustainable Business Innovation, Corporate Social Responsibility, Development Economics, or related fields.

Alternatively:

  • A relevant NQF 8 qualification in Applied Humanities or Commerce, with comparable innovation or development economics modules at the undergraduate level.

Experience Requirements:

  • Professional experience in Applied Humanities or Commerce
  • Prior lecturing experience

Working Conditions:

  • This position is classified as an Independent Contractor role.

  • This is a part-time position.
