Position Overview
The IIE Varsity College, Pretoria campus, is looking for qualified individuals in Applied Humanities/Commerce to enhance the teaching and research capabilities within the Faculty of Management Studies.

Role Purpose
The main objective of this role is to provide effective teaching and facilitation on various qualifications, alongside engaging in academic activities that foster student success and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering lectures and facilitating learning
  • Assessing student work
  • Providing support to students

Required Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Effective time management

Educational Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field of Applied Humanities or Commerce, with a focus on areas such as Strategic Innovation, Business Innovation, or Development Economics.

Alternatively:

  • A relevant NQF 8 qualification in Applied Humanities or Commerce, including similar modules related to innovation or development economics.

Experience Requirements:

  • Practical experience in the Applied Humanities/Commerce sector
  • Prior lecturing experience

Working Conditions:

  • This role is classified as an Independent Contractor position.
