Clearing and Forwarding Sales Executive

We are seeking an experienced Clearing and Forwarding Sales Executive to join our team at RecruiTech. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for facilitating the processing of credit applications, implementing strategies for meeting sales performance targets, and maintaining and updating client records.
About the RoleIn this role, you will work closely with existing strategic customers to solidify mutual expectations of performance and growth. You will also be responsible for acquiring new business and continued expansion among existing clients. Your strong consultative selling skills and ability to negotiate will be essential in driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a matric certificate and a 3-year sales and marketing-related qualification at NQF Level 5. You must also have a clearing and forwarding, contract logistics, and warehousing background. Industry experience in chemicals, raw materials, dangerous goods, liquid bulk, project cargo, and general cargo would be an added advantage.
Skills and AttributesThe ideal candidate will have a solid 5-year sales track record within clearing and forwarding, contract logistics, and warehousing. You will also require strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and a comprehensive understanding of sales and marketing principles. Additionally, you should have good knowledge of international trade principles, understand air and sea freight forwarding practices and procedures, and have a minimum of 5 years of progressive sales executive experience with a demonstrated record of sales growth in the clearing and forwarding industry.
