About the Role:

  • As a Senior Financial Recovery Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all money owed to our business and ensuring timely recovery of payments.
  • You will build and maintain close links with clients to facilitate smooth account management and encourage timely payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full function of collection duties, including regular reporting
  • Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts and plan course of action to recover payments
  • Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans and handle questions or complaints
  • Update account status and database regularly

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of proven debt collection or related experience
  • Experience working with targets and tight deadlines and large accounts/books
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel

Salary Estimate:

R 25,000 - R 35,000 per month, depending on experience

Education:

Relevant Post-Matric Qualification
