Job Description

The Lost Property Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient collection, sorting, and return of passengers' lost property at FlySafair stations.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect lost property from designated areas;
  • Organize items according to time periods of loss;
  • Return identified property to airports for passenger collection;
  • Coordinate with relevant departments for delivery of lost property to couriers when required;
  • Document and categorize lost items, maintaining detailed records and logs;
  • Follow procedures for handling valuable or sensitive items;
  • Keep the lost and found area organized and accessible;
  • Collaborate with security, airlines, and law enforcement as needed;
  • Provide monthly reports on lost property processes;
  • Support charity drives in conjunction with the Customer Care Centre Manager;
  • Assist the Call Centre Team and baggage handlers with lost property inquiries;
  • Offer guidance to passengers on lost property policies and procedures;
  • Train staff on lost property protocols as required.
