Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic sales planning, building strong relationships with clients, and identifying new opportunities for expansion.
About the Role
The Sales and Business Development Manager will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives. This includes:
- Developing and implementing sales plans to drive business growth and increase revenue
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand our client base and grow revenue
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication across teams
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and business development, with excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Key responsibilities will include:
- Creating and managing sales budgets and forecasts to meet business targets
- Developing and presenting sales reports to senior management on sales performance and progress
- Building and maintaining a pipeline of potential clients and opportunities
- Providing market insights and competitive analysis to inform sales strategy and decision-making
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in sales and business development, preferably in the food industry
- Proven track record of success in driving business growth and increasing revenue
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop effective solutions
