Role Summary

This is a senior sales role that requires an experienced sales professional to manage a high-level corporate client.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all quote requests are submitted correctly and within the company's time frame.

  1. Negotiate with suppliers for the best possible price to maintain beneficial Gross Profit.
  2. Offer and suggest alternative products or services to meet end-user deadlines.
  3. Provide first-line sales telephonic assistance to customers.
  4. Identify sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage production of all orders and ensure they are delivered as per company SLAs and/or to meet clients' delivery deadlines.
  2. Follow up on quotations and production.
  3. Communicate and update the external sales executive on all production and quotations.
  4. Assist management with ad hoc projects and requests where necessary.

Requirements:

  1. At least 3-5 years' experience in sales administration, quoting, and/or production.
  2. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  3. Managing Production and/or knowledge of production.
  4. Knowledge of CI and CAD approvals is beneficial.
  5. Excellent ability to plan, organize, and handle customer queries.
  6. Sense of urgency.
  7. Must have own vehicle.
  8. Computer Literate (MS Office, Netsuite, Accpac or Sage).
  9. Must be proficient in English & Afrikaans.
  10. Strong phone presence and willing to telephonically call clients and suppliers.
  11. Must have at least 5 years' experience in managing a team.
