Job Description

This role involves providing high-quality HR Services experience with regard to Employee Relations. You will be the first point of contact for ER process and policy queries and/or issues.

You will provide an end-to-end case management service with regards to all ER processes, including poor performance management, grievance management, and sick leave management.

You will also provide support and consultation to staff and line management throughout the ER process. Liaise with the Employment Law division on complex cases.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a 3-year degree or diploma in HR/Law/Employee Relations, with 5 years of relevant experience in HR-related field/ER.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver a consistent and high-quality HR Services experience with regard to Employee Relations.
  • To be the first point of contact to the business for all ER process and policy queries and/or issues.
  • To provide an end-to-end case management service with regards to all ER processes.
  • To facilitate the end-to-end case management of the Income Continuation Benefits (ICB) process.
  • To facilitate, investigate and appropriate close HR related Speak Up cases.
  • To build and maintain relationships/clarify expectations with key stakeholders.
  • To be involved in sub-project deliverables on needs-driven basis.
  • To keep abreast of latest HR trends (best practice), tools and techniques through networking and monitoring the micro and macro environment.
  • To maintain current reporting requirements to the relevant stakeholders and create and enhance ER related reporting.

Salary

R1,200,000 - R1,500,000 per annum, depending on experience.
