Job Title: Communications Specialist

At SALT Employee Benefits, we are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing internal and external communications strategies to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement internal communications strategies to engage employees and promote a positive company culture.
  • Manage and maintain our social media presence, including creating and scheduling content, engaging with followers, and analyzing metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement external communications strategies, including media relations, crisis communications, and reputation management.
  • Write and edit content for various channels, including press releases, media kits, and company websites.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, influencers, and industry partners.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends and competitor activity to inform communications strategies.
  • Provide strategic counsel to senior leaders on communications-related matters.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in communications, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communications strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and channels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
