A global workplace solutions company, TalentCru, is seeking a customer-oriented Specialist: Employee Relations to join their team in Gauteng.

The ideal candidate will provide specialist advice and support related to employee relations, continuously improving the quality, service, and associated work outputs. They will contribute to and advise on procedures and processes that are in alignment with established practices, policy, and labour legislation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist advice and support related to employee relations.
  • Improve the quality, service, and associated work outputs.
  • Contribute to and advise on procedures and processes.
  • Identify process-related operational problems and recommend improvements.
  • Plan for the organisation of work outputs and process improvement activities.
  • Gather relevant information and present it in written reports.
  • Implement, manage, and enable fair employee relations practices.
  • Maintain current knowledge of related government rules and regulations.
  • Collaborate with different business areas to provide employees with knowledge and awareness of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Identify, diagnose, and recommend improvements and provide specialist advice and support.
  • Provide training and development related to Labour law processes and internal policies.
  • Represent the area of responsibility at the Bargaining Council and with associated CCMA processes.
  • Provide support to management in resolving employee disputes.
  • Monitor and advise clients on the industrial or employee relations environment.
  • Advise on adherence to labour legislation, conditions of employment, and other related industrial matters.
  • Represent the organisation in conducting client-specific union and employee-related negotiations.
  • Ensure accurate client-specific reporting and trends analysis for all ER activities.
  • Ensure support to clients are executed within agreed client-specific SLAs.
  • Comply with risk and governance policies and implement subject matter feedback.
  • Implement, evaluate, monitor, and realign area-specific processes.
  • Provide advice and support to the business to mitigate litigation risk.
  • Adhere to financial controls, governance, and compliance policies and processes.
  • Participate in best practice forums and contribute positively to own and operational knowledge improvement.
  • Contribute to the successful implementation of change initiatives.
  • Motivate, coach, and develop direct reports.
  • Contribute to a culture of stakeholder service excellence.
