About the Role

To succeed in this Fleet Specialist position at Asource Recruitment, you should be able to drive sales growth for the Fleet department. Your key responsibilities will include negotiating tenders with government, rental, and corporate fleet customers to increase nominations on RT57 Contracts. Additionally, you will be responsible for tender price negotiations and ensuring that your area of responsibility meets and exceeds business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct sales staff to achieve sales objectives and conduct quality fleet visits.
  • Motivate and support the team in relationship-building pursuits.
  • Build and sustain strong, long-term customer relationships across government, rental, and corporate fleet customers.
  • Plan and participate in promotional activities to promote the brand and its products.
  • Develop and implement tender strategies to enhance the chances of achieving the best possible nominations on the RT57 Contract.
  • Forecast sales volumes by model and derivative for the year to ensure accurate inventory procurement.
  • Responsible for generating business opportunities and achieving yearly targets.
  • Assist with debtors management and facilitate vehicle concern resolutions with dealers, fleet, and customer service operations.
  • Ensure contract compliance and adhere to documented procedures and processes.
  • Implement a fleet by dealer strategy and conduct dealer visits to check fleet retail and marketing activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 4 years of proven work experience in a similar role.
  • Automotive industry experience is non-negotiable.
  • Dealership level experience is advantageous.
  • Young, energetic, and motivated.
  • Matric.
  • Post graduate BCom degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Valid driver's license.
