IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Midrand. As the first point of contact for technical support, you will be responsible for resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues for users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently log and allocate incoming calls, ensuring all calls are attended to and closed.
- Ensure all calls are logged within our ITSM tool as per operational processes.
- Assist the team with work overload when required and maintain general administration tasks up-to-date.
- Maintain high-level customer liaison at all times, interacting professionally with users.
- Follow escalation procedures as needed.
- Adhere to client-specific Operational Manuals.
About You:
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in an IT service desk environment.
- 1-2 years' customer service experience.
- Experience in First Call Resolution.
Requirements:
- A+, N+ or higher certifications.
- ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 certification.
Additional Information:
- This is a permanent position.
- Location: Midrand - Onsite.
- Work environment: Office is open plan.
- Physical demands: Sitting.
- Travel: To the office.
