We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Midrand. As the first point of contact for technical support, you will be responsible for resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues for users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently log and allocate incoming calls, ensuring all calls are attended to and closed.
  • Ensure all calls are logged within our ITSM tool as per operational processes.
  • Assist the team with work overload when required and maintain general administration tasks up-to-date.
  • Maintain high-level customer liaison at all times, interacting professionally with users.
  • Follow escalation procedures as needed.
  • Adhere to client-specific Operational Manuals.

About You:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in an IT service desk environment.
  • 1-2 years' customer service experience.
  • Experience in First Call Resolution.

Requirements:

  • A+, N+ or higher certifications.
  • ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 certification.

  • This is a permanent position.
  • Location: Midrand - Onsite.
  • Work environment: Office is open plan.
  • Physical demands: Sitting.
  • Travel: To the office.
