Job Summary

As a German Travel Concierge at ABC Worldwide, you will be responsible for providing exceptional travel experiences for our international clientele. Your primary focus will be on booking tailor-made holidays and safaris on the continent, ensuring seamless logistics and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for international clients, responding to their travel requests and providing expert advice on destinations and services.
  • Book hotel and lodge reservations, as well as coordinate logistics, to ensure a smooth travel experience.
  • Responsible for distributing travel requests to agents and supporting sales consultants with administrative duties.
  • Conclude all aspects of the booking process, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of client queries.
  • Enquire about client preferences and warm leads for senior consultants.
  • Provide sales quotes and support senior sales consultants as the first point of contact.
  • Work directly with sales managers to resolve client travel issues and provide customer service.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers to resolve booking-related issues and communicate with consultants.
  • Log all required tickets and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure timely turnaround times for sales consultant requests.
  • Update the Concierge dashboard and report to sales managers.

Requirements

Our ideal German Concierge Specialist will possess:
  • A National Senior Certificate/Matric.
  • 2 years of experience in a Concierge or Sales Administrative Assistant role.
  • Fluency in speaking and writing in the German language.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness and drive to learn.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree/Diploma in Tourism.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence across the organisation.
