Regional Business Development Manager

Spearhead sales and revenue growth initiatives in the Gauteng region as a Regional Business Development Manager.
Main Accountabilities:- Leverage quality leadership to drive customer satisfaction and market share within the geographical area.
- Achieve set revenue and profitability quotas for the company's products sold into various customer segments within the region.
- Establish a foundation for sustained sales growth.
- Deliver value and solutions to customers.
- Oversee selling activities within the region, encompassing resource allocation and customer interactions.
- Prioritize tasks efficiently in line with corporate goals.
- Accountable for regional sales forecasting and tracking.
- Develop and implement a business strategy to achieve regional objectives.
- Analyze market trends and gather competitor intelligence, identifying key factors influencing regional sales and profitability.
- Participate in assigned special projects.
- Post-matric qualification supplemented by 5 years of sales experience.
- Understanding of forklifts and their sale within a designated territory.
- Demonstrated success in a previous sales role.
- Excellent closing skills. Formal sales training attendance is desirable.
- Exceptional communication, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal relationships.
- Capacity to acquire and retain product knowledge to effectively communicate its benefits.
- Familiarity with the Lift Truck industry is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of Autoline/CRM system is an asset.
- Willingsness to travel extensively across the region.
