Africa Regional Business Development Manager

We are looking for a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in Sub-Sahara Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the region, while also maintaining and growing existing relationships with customers and partners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the African mining industry and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. They will also have the ability to travel extensively throughout the region, meeting with customers and partners to build relationships and drive business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Sub-Sahara African region.
  • Maintain and grow existing relationships with customers and partners.
  • Becoming knowledgeable about the current and future needs of customers and advising on the appropriate SPX FLOW products and services to meet their requirements.
  • Collaborating with other regional sales managers to share information and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in a commercial role specific to the African mining industry.
  • Strong understanding of the African mining industry and its trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the region.
