A career opportunity has arisen for a skilled Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to join MNA Recruitment (Pty) Ltd in promoting our esteemed Dermatology and Respiratory portfolios to Pharmacy groups within the Northern suburbs of Cape Town.

Job Purpose:

  • To boost sales in and out of Pharmacies, service all allocated Clients, and establish strong relationships with these clients.
  • To execute our Marketing strategy in the field, ensuring visibility of our company's Products in these pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promoting products to Targeted Pharmacies.
  • Liaising and persuading target Responsible Pharmacists to sell our products using effective selling skills and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Selling and promoting against sales targets, achieving territory plan objectives.
  • Implementing and executing value-added programs across the territory.
  • Territory management, developing a routine call cycle for all customers within the allocated territory.
  • Building relationships with target customers to enhance product knowledge and gain product endorsement for generating sales.
  • Ensuring all target customers are fully informed of the product range, correct product application/dosages through regular trainings and one-on-one detailing.
  • General admin: Consolidating monthly expenses, weekly call planner, and feedback on infield activities to Area Sales Manager.
  • Traveling to defined geographies to promote products.
  • Organizing appointments and meetings with targeted pharmacies.
  • Identifying and establishing new businesses in your area.
  • Monitoring and analyzing data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage.
  • Meeting both business and scientific needs of healthcare professionals Responsible Pharmacists.
  • Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Reviewing sales performance in monthly reviews and presenting territory.
  • Attending company meetings, technical data presentations, and briefings.
  • Uplifting any products if required.
  • Building displays/Gondola ends.

Requirements:

  • A minimum 2-3 years of experience in the Healthcare/Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Computer Literacy.
  • A valid Driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Diploma/Degree.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Science/Sales and Marketing or Business.

Estimated Salary: R600,000 - R800,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
