- Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounts receivable process to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely collection of outstanding debts.
- Monitor and validate all invoices to prevent discrepancies and errors.
- Prepare a debtor report and submit it to the Finance Manager on a daily/weekly/monthly basis for review and analysis.
- Credit Notes: Review and verify credit notes issued to customers to ensure accurate accounting and compliance with financial regulations.
- Collections and Reconciliations: Manage the collection of outstanding debts from customers and reconcile any discrepancies in accounts payable and receivable.
- Adhoc reports: Provide ad-hoc reports to the Finance Manager as required to support business decision-making.
- Credit vetting: Conduct thorough credit checks on new customers to assess their creditworthiness and risk.
- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing industry setting.
- Proficiency in Sage Evolution software and experience using it in a financial operations context.
- An attractive salary package of R300,000 - R360,000 per annum, depending on experience.
