Job Title: Procurement Officer

Salary Range: R 450,000.00 - R 550,000.00 per annum (CTC), depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role:
The successful incumbent will be responsible for leading a team of 4-6 staff members in various procurement functions, including electronic procurement, mechanical procurement, inbound and outbound logistics, imports and shipping, and key interface with production.

Main Responsibilities:
* Manage procurement lead times to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
* Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to achieve business objectives
* Collaborate with production teams to plan and manage deliverables
* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding procurement

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent qualification
* Minimum 5-7 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in an engineering manufacturing environment
* Strong knowledge of ERP systems and their application in procurement
