Administrative Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinic Administrator to join our team at SA Metal Group (Pty) Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to healthcare staff, including scheduling, diary management, and maintaining patient records.
- Coordinate and manage the reception area, including welcoming patients, taking/diverting calls, and managing queries.
- Liaise with external service providers, including optometrists, pathology services, specialists, hospitals, pharmacies, and public clinics.
- Perform multiple administrative tasks, including typing referral letters, creating and maintaining spreadsheets, and processing invoices.
- Devising and maintaining office systems to efficiently deal with the paper and process flow of the clinic.
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Secretarial/Office Administration course Diploma/Certificate
- At least 5 - 8 years' experience in a similar role
- Excellent planning, organisational, and decision-making skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills on all levels
- Professional attitude
- Confidentiality, tact, and discretion essential when dealing with people
- Computer Literacy viz. Microsoft Office Suit
- Ability to work within a team and independently
- Ability to multi-task and manage demanding workload in a pressurised environment
