About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team at Mukuru as a Territory Sales Agent and Branch Teller. The successful candidate will be based in Johannesburg and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing remittances, and driving sales within their assigned territory.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of foreign exchange and regulatory requirements. A high school graduate with a Chinese language related certificate and 2 years of experience in customer service and sales within a financial institution is required.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing advice and guidance to customers
  • Analysing and monitoring transaction details
  • Motivating customers to transact with Mukuru
  • Gathering location specific information on sales
  • Verifying the current rate as given by ICFX
  • Matching customer name and ID before processing
  • Capturing all transaction details in ICFX
