About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Support Specialist to join our team at Amazon Development Centre (South Africa) (Proprietary) Limited. As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing timely and accurate operational assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with customers via various channels, including email, chat, and phone, while utilizing a range of tools to navigate accounts, research, and review policies.
  • Provide effective solutions to customer pain points, while adhering to service level agreements for contact channels.
  • Develop internal documentation and process improvements to enhance the customer experience.
Requirements
  • Fluent in English and French, both written and verbal.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in a Customer Service or Contact Centre environment.
  • High School Diploma or relevant NQF level qualification.
  • Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Amazon Customer Service experience.
  • Comfort and experience with the use of technical and payment tools/systems.
  • Experience working with KPIs and SLAs.
  • Ability to work in teams where team members are in different locations and belong to different cultures.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including overnight and weekends.
  • Prior experience in process improvement initiatives or Six Sigma.
