Senior Sales Engineer

The Key Accounts Engineer will be responsible for presenting and selling value propositions to meet or exceed sales goals, performance quotas, and process expectations in the relevant region.
Responsibilities:
Sales:
- Identify, analyze, and rank existing and new customers in the area based on their business potential.
- Develop long-term relationships with customers based on trust and confidence.
- Create and maintain a customer call plan to generate ongoing sales inquiries.
- Execute call plans, ensure existing customers are serviced, and new opportunities are followed up.
- Identify new business opportunities through cold calling and networking.
- Monitor sales performance to ensure targets and margins are achieved.
- Prepare and maintain product presentations.
- Attend marketing and sales functions as required.
- Manage communications between key customers and internal teams.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints.
Technical:
- Understand power transmission formulae and use it as a tool for equipment selection.
- Aquire in-depth knowledge of company products, use of catalogues, and product selection criteria.
- Aquire knowledge of applications and their impact on equipment selection.
- Conduct site meetings to evaluate applications and solve operating problems.
- Perform necessary calculations for equipment sizing, recommendation, and selection.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5-10 years sales experience in the industry or similar experience.
- Familiarity with CRM packages.
- Good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Experience in project management will be an advantage.
- Qualification in Mechanical engineering will be an advantage.
