Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior External Technical Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving sales and fostering relationships with clients in the energy-saving industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in marketing, promoting, and selling our energy products to both existing and potential customers.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while ensuring effective follow-up.
  • Maintain personalized communication with key clients, addressing their needs and preferences.
  • Stay informed about all current and prospective products offered by our suppliers.
  • Provide comprehensive product training and support to both existing and new clients.
  • Establish and nurture positive business relationships with customers.
  • Generate leads through proactive outreach and cold calling.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to enhance sales efforts.
  • Analyze market potential and track sales performance through regular reporting.
  • Supply management with insights on customer needs, challenges, and competitive landscape.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and promotional trends.
  • Coordinate daily sales activities and achieve set sales targets within established timelines.

Qualifications

  • Matriculation and/or relevant tertiary qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a related field.
  • Proven sales skills with a track record of success.
  • Strong persuasive abilities, persistence, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of energy products, including batteries, inverters, solar panels, and chargers.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Capability to handle sensitive issues diplomatically and under pressure.
  • Problem-solving skills to address technical inquiries on-site.
  • Physical stamina to engage in daily activities.
