Key Responsibilities:
  • **Achieve Sales Targets:** Responsible for achieving sales, revenues, and profitability targets within the allocated client base or area.
  • **Identify New Clients:** Identify and develop new clients deemed as suitable for the company within the allocated client base or area.
  • **Provide Feedback and Reports:** Provide regular feedback and reports as defined by relevant ISO procedures and by the responsible Sales Manager on activity within the specified client base or area.
  • **Present Solutions:** Participate in the presentation of potential solutions to clients and negotiate Service Level Agreements in line with company policies, to meet the client's requirement and expectations.
  • **Develop Strategic Sales Plans:** Develop and implement strategic sales plans in the allocated client base or area to accommodate company objectives, targets, and budgets.
  • **Market Analysis:** Review market analysis to determine customer needs and recommend price schedules and discount rates.
  • **Sales Presentations:** Deliver sales presentations to clients and display or demonstrate product, using samples or catalogue, and emphasize saleable features.
  • **Client Support:** Regularly meet with clients, assisting them with sales quotes, literature, technical support, marketing material, and training.
  • **Competition Monitoring:** Monitor and evaluate competition activities and products.
  • **Calendar and CRM System:** Ensure calendar/CRM system updated with all client contact details and client activities within the branch.
  • **Sales Tools:** Ensure effective use of sales tools provided by the company.
  • **Business Forecasting:** Forecasting of current and future potential business within the client base including product category by vendor in conjunction with the Branch Manager.
  • **Client Visits:** Schedule client visits in line with company and client requirements to ensure consistent contact and knowledge transfer through to closure of the sale.
  • **Travel:** Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers on sales floor or by phone.
  • **Training:** Provide effective delivery of training within the client base or area.
  • **Quotations:** Assist where needed in the preparation of client quotations in line with company ISO procedures and relative Service Level Agreements.
  • **Trade Shows:** Attend trade shows and product launches as scheduled by the company.
  • **Stock Takes:** Assist with all Stock Takes.
  • **ISO Compliancy:** Maintain ISO Compliancy.
Minimum Requirements:
  • **Matric Certificate:** Matric Certificate
  • **Experience:** Three to five years' experience in the security industry
  • **Driver's License:** Current valid driver's license
  • **Vehicle:** Fully insured for business use, roadworthy, and licensed motor vehicle
  • **Computer Literacy:** Must be computer literate
  • **Sales Qualifications:** Sales-related qualifications and/or training will be an advantage
  • **Interpersonal Skills:** Interpersonal skills
  • **Alarms/Access Control, Fire and CCTV Technical and Sales Experience:** Alarms/Access Control, Fire and CCTV Technical and Sales experience
