Job Summary:
Phoenix Recruitment seeks an experienced Front Desk Supervisor to oversee guest services at a hotel in Stellenbosch.
Main Duties:- Evaluate and improve guest service delivery, maintaining high standards.
- Supervise Guest Relations employees, focusing on personalized recognition and prompt responses.
- Manage Guest Relations processes, streamlining them for efficiency.
- Facilitate collaboration between departments for enhanced employee relations.
- Take on additional responsibilities as Guest Relations Officer and Night Auditor when needed.
- Regularly attend morning meetings to stay informed about ongoing operations.
- Design and implement effective rosters to ensure optimal staffing levels.
- Conduct training sessions for new Guest Relations Officers.
- Address guest inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Train Guest Relations Officers on company policies and procedures.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.
- A relevant degree or diploma, combined with a matric certificate.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience working at a hotel front desk.
- A genuine enthusiasm for the hospitality industry.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to build and maintain professional relationships across diverse cultures and religions.
- Experience dealing with discerning clients is beneficial.
- Presentability is key.
- Honesty, adaptability, and accountability are essential traits.
- A warm, approachable, and professional demeanor is required.
- A commitment to punctuality and self-discipline is vital.
- Strong attention to detail is crucial.
- Basic computer and administrative skills are necessary.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights.
