Senior Sales Manager Opportunity for a Process Equipment Leader

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to spearhead our process equipment sales efforts in the Minerals industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional with a proven track record in sales leadership and process equipment expertise.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, preferably in Process Engineering or Metallurgy, accompanied by relevant experience in sales/management roles within the Mining/Process Equipment or Consulting Engineering sectors. A demonstrated ability to sell capital equipment, particularly processing equipment such as jigs, UCC, DMS, and sensor sorting, is essential.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to create and manage technical proposals and reports. Strong understanding of sales management and business principles, including budgeting and financial modeling, is also required.

  • Mandatory Requirements:
  • Engineering degree with preference in Process Engineering or Metallurgy, accompanied by relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of sales/management experience in similar roles within the Mining/Process Equipment or Consulting Engineering sectors.
  • Demonstrated track record in leadership positions with sales of process equipment to the minerals industry, preferably in coal/DMS plant settings.
  • Familiarity with plant design and operations.
  • Ability to identify and provide value-added solutions.
  • Experience in large capital equipment tenders, including negotiation, legal terms/risk assessment, performance & guarantees, and risk management.
  • Costing/estimating experience for capital equipment tenders.
  • Ability to create and manage technical proposals and reports.
  • Strong understanding of sales management and business principles.
  • Budgeting and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Will to travel and stay on site/in-country for extended periods.
  • Possession of own transport and valid driver's license.
Salary:

$120,000 per year based on industry standards and qualifications, making this an attractive offer for the right candidate.
