Job Title: Business Development Manager (FMCG)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Paarl, Western Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, extracting, and developing business opportunities and projects in the FMCG market sector in Southern Africa.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work closely with clients to develop business opportunities from basic concept stage to engineered solutions with fixed and firm capital and operational costs for order placement.
  • To accurately convey project scope and client requirements to the project execution team, ensuring alignment of expectations at all times during the project execution and aftersales phase.
  • To identify and develop relationships with new clients, expanding our footprint in the FMCG market sector.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Process/Chemical Engineering (Postgraduate qualification beneficial).
  • Four years or more of working experience in the engineering environment, preferably with project execution experience in the FMCG market sector.
  • Experience in the water/effluent treatment, project execution, and costing environment will be highly advantageous.
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, capable of developing project costings and proposals for review with little to no assistance.
