Business Development Strategist

To drive sales and management of the product portfolio within the designated Business Unit, the ideal candidate will work closely with clients and internal teams to develop and grow client market share.
Key Responsibilities- Analyzing and expanding business operations to achieve sustained development and growth.
- Evaluating and improving sales, marketing, and branding strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
- Conducting market trend analysis and competitor behavior evaluation to inform business decisions.
- Developing and implementing local product strategies based on market segmentation models.
- Delivering on product strategies and roadmaps to drive business growth.
- Assisting in pricing model development based on customer value (ROI) analysis.
- Identifying and developing new business strategies based on customer behavior.
- Developing and maintaining customer relationships and strengthening industry partnerships.
- Liaising with Sales, Marketing, and Management to align strategies and increase revenue.
- Developing a multi-year product roadmap based on corporate strategy and requirements prioritization.
- Assisting the sales team in creating a value proposition to market.
- Identifying new customers through research and networking opportunities.
- Grade 12
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration (advantageous)
- At least 10 years of proven industry sales experience
- Previous experience as Business Unit Manager or marketing manager
- Technical knowledge in ICT-based solutions
- Proven knowledge of ICT hardware, software, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from initiation to completion
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
