Business Development Representative

We are seeking a skilled Sales Representative to join our team in Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual who can contribute to our sales force's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients across the Cape Town area.
- Sales Performance: Drive sales by taking orders, ensuring timely delivery, and coordinating with our admin office and delivery team.
- Customer Communication: Respond promptly to customer emails and queries, providing excellent service and support.
- Promotional Activities: Participate in various promotional events, including weekend activities, to boost sales and engagement.
- Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with our sales teams to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Data Management: Maintain and update sales leads, customer information, and relevant data to inform business decisions.
- Matriculation Certificate: A non-negotiable requirement for this position.
- Driver's License and Vehicle: We require a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for daily duties.
- Languages: Fluent Afrikaans is essential for communicating with our clients and colleagues.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of sales representative experience is required for this role.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for interacting with clients and stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is expected.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge or previous experience within the pet industry would be highly advantageous.
- Basic Salary: R15 000 - R18 000 per month + Commission (dependent on proven sales experience)
- Allowances: Fuel, phone, and device usage allowances are included in the package.
