Executive Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join our team at Oliver Wyman. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support to our Partners and Principals, ensuring the smooth operation of our Johannesburg office.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and client administrators
- Understand business goals and objectives, identifying opportunities for growth and development
- Lead the administrative support for RFPs and tender responses
- Manage and update our CRM database, tracking sales activity and pipeline
Calendaring
- Maintain diaries for Partners and Principals, scheduling internal and external meetings
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights and accommodation
- Develop a deep understanding of Partner scheduling and travel preferences
Daily Administration
- Manage documents and project deliverables, ensuring timely completion
- Notify staffing and Practice teams of extensions and re-negotiations
- Manage storage and disposal of confidential client information
Timesheet and Expense Reporting
- Prepare monthly timesheets for assigned Partners and Principals
- Prepare expense reports and request purchase orders as needed
Team Support
- Provide coverage for EAs who are out of the office
- Provide short-term coverage for Principals who may be in transition or new to the Firm
