Business Development Representative for Pest Control Services

Our client in the UK is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, engaging with potential clients, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound telesales calls to prospective commercial clients in need of pest control, bird control, and waste management solutions.
  • Research and identify potential business leads using a variety of channels (databases, internet research, social media).
  • Qualify leads to understand their needs and align them with AIM Environmental's services.
  • Present and sell AIM Environmental's range of services to businesses, explaining the benefits and value propositions.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline to meet and exceed monthly targets.
  • Schedule and coordinate follow-up appointments for the field sales team where required.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to refine strategies and improve conversion rates.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to provide valuable insights during client interactions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in telesales, cold calling, or a business development role (experience in the environmental services industry is a plus).
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage prospects and build relationships quickly.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups simultaneously.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience working with CRM systems to track and manage client interactions.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
