Job Title: ER Manager

At Sharon Nurock Recruitment CC, we are seeking an experienced ER Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership on all ER matters, including effective bargaining council processes, CCMA engagement, and dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provision of legal and compliance advisory services to HRBPs
  • Strategic lead on all ER matters
  • Effective bargaining council processes and CCMA engagement
  • Reporting, risk management, and mitigation
  • Effective dispute resolution
  • Fulfilment of the EE and transformation agenda
  • Development of policies, legal matrices, and frameworks of application and successful stakeholder engagement at all levels in the business
Requirements:
  • HR degree or Employee Relations (ER) qualification
  • Conflict resolution or Labour Law qualification, a strong advantage
  • Post-graduate qualifications are advantageous
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years relevant ER experience in a unionised manufacturing industry
  • Minimum 5 years experience in strategic leadership
  • Proven successful practical application of relevant employee legislation in a commercial unionised environment
  • Demonstrated value add within an Employment Equity, Diversity, and/or Transformation portfolio
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management at all levels
  • Experience in the upholding of company values in ER matters
