Key Responsibilities:- Financial Performance: Achieve store financial targets by maximizing sales, tracking daily targets, and taking proactive action as required.
- Operational Management: Efficiently manage and control all operational activities, including expenses, stock management, shrinkage, and general housekeeping.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure in-store presentation and promotional standards are maintained, and the appearance of the store is in line with the company's image.
- Employee Management: Effectively lead and manage employees to ensure competent and motivated staff.
- Staff Scheduling: Adequately schedule staff to ensure each department is fully and appropriately staffed.
- Administrative Responsibilities: Ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently, including time and attendance and employee records.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain sound working relationships with stakeholders to ensure business objectives are achieved.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A minimum grade 12 qualification.
- Three years people management experience.
- Proven people management skills.
- Detailed knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Labour Relations Act, and BCOE Act.
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely in English.
