A challenging and rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrative support professional to join our team at Status Staffing. As a highly skilled and organized individual, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our CEO and other senior executives.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to manage the full range of administrative tasks, including purchasing authorization, travel arrangements, expense claims, and event planning. If you have a strong background in administration, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality results, we want to hear from you.

About the Role:

  • Administration Support:
    • Manage purchasing authorization process, from submission of purchase orders to handover of signed invoices for payment
    • Arrange and manage local and international travel arrangements for the CEO, as well as trade and other international fairs for all attendees
    • Manage Forex linked to international travel
    • Make ad hoc personal bookings and searches for the CEO
    • Develop and implement administrative standards, policies, and practices for the organization
  • Secretarial Support:
    • Communicate directives and information from the CEO to executives, managers, and others in the organization
    • Follow up on the status of assignments
    • Receive, screen, and direct incoming calls, visitors, mail, and email
    • Maintain files, records, calendars, and diaries
    • Control filing linked to contracts, SLAs, customers, property, and property plans
  • Insurance Management:
    • Manage vehicle insurance portfolio, from adding or removing vehicles to managing claims
    • Manage all insurance, including marine and transit cover where necessary
  • Event Planning:
    • Arrange and manage all aspects of large-scale internal and external events
  • Self-Development and Growth:
    • Conduct a realistic assessment of own strengths and development areas
    • Undertake actions to address weaknesses

Requirements:

  • Matric Diploma in Legal Secretarial/Paralegal or similar qualification
  • Strong administration skills, including purchasing authorization and expense management
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (English and Afrikaans)
  • Well-developed leadership and junior management skills

Benefits:

  • Basic salary: R66 000.00 per annum
  • Benefits package includes medical aid, retirement fund, and life insurance

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am - 3:45 pm
