Tour Specialist for Unforgettable African Safaris

We are seeking a highly skilled Tour Specialist to join our team at Wild Dreams Hospitality in Gauteng, Sandton. As a key player in our retail travel division, you will be responsible for designing and delivering exceptional safari experiences for our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop bespoke itineraries that exceed client expectations, showcasing the best of Africa's natural wonders and cultural heritage.
  • Work closely with our sales teams, preferred supplier partners, and colleagues to ensure seamless reservations, bookings, and travel documentation.
  • Manage guest budgets and deliver exceptional customer service, handling inquiries and resolving issues in a calm and professional manner.
  • Proactively promote our products and services, offering expert advice to ensure clients experience the ultimate safari adventure.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop strategic plans, drive sales growth, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of tour consulting experience, with a strong passion for delivering service excellence.
  • Excellent computer skills, including ESS, MS Office, and WETU, with a proven ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience with TourPlan is highly advantageous, but not essential.
  • A good understanding of South Africa, Southern, and East Africa, including its cultures, landscapes, and wildlife.
