Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative is a key role within our team at Cochrane Global, responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue. This individual will be a highly motivated and self-driven professional with a strong ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business opportunities through targeted outreach and communication with potential clients.
  • Work closely with our sales team to develop and execute sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of client interactions and communications within our CRM platform.
  • Provide regular sales pipeline reports and analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to optimize lead generation and conversion from our website.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 / Matric qualification is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • 0-3 years of experience in telemarketing, inside sales, or business development is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales activity quotas.
  • Proven track record of building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Technical Requirements:
  • Proficient in MS Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
