As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, conducting executive-level sales engagements, understanding customer needs through consultative selling, and collaborating with the technical support team to demonstrate competitive advantages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and develop solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Sales and/or Marketing
  • At least 8 years of sales experience in the commercial sales sector
  • Infrastructure software sales experience is highly desirable
  • Experience selling software products to Government, Municipalities, and Senior Engineers
  • Proficiency in MS Office and web-based CRM tools
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills for closing deals
  • Ability to explain product features and benefits in a compelling way
  • Ability to work under pressure and devise sales strategies
  • Good networking skills and ability to handle multiple client companies
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively
