Business Development Manager

This is a career-defining opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to join Pollock & Associates and drive growth within our sales team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, conducting executive-level sales engagements, understanding customer needs through consultative selling, and collaborating with the technical support team to demonstrate competitive advantages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and develop solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity
Requirements:
- Diploma in Sales and/or Marketing
- At least 8 years of sales experience in the commercial sales sector
- Infrastructure software sales experience is highly desirable
- Experience selling software products to Government, Municipalities, and Senior Engineers
- Proficiency in MS Office and web-based CRM tools
- Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills for closing deals
- Ability to explain product features and benefits in a compelling way
- Ability to work under pressure and devise sales strategies
- Good networking skills and ability to handle multiple client companies
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively
