Role Overview:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing national key accounts and driving new business initiatives. This role involves leading a sales team and collaborating closely with production, design, and supply chain departments to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage national key accounts effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategies for new business growth.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to meet performance targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Establish and monitor sales objectives.
  • Conduct pricing strategies and negotiations.

Candidate Profile:

  • At least 10 years of experience in sales.
  • A technical tertiary qualification is required.
  • Sales or marketing qualifications are advantageous.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a sales team.
  • Comfortable operating in a competitive market environment.
  • Ability to address basic technical challenges relevant to the industry.
  • Knowledge of the polymer sector is a plus.
  • Experience in budget preparation and KPI development.
  • Strong skills in financial report analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
