**Job Title:** Business Development Manager

**About the Role:

As a Business Development Manager with Sci Tech Placements, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and development through strategic sales and marketing initiatives. Your primary objective will be to plan, implement, and evaluate sales and marketing strategies to achieve budgeted sales targets.

**Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct market visits to establish representative routes and areas of focus.

* Gather accurate customer information and develop customer relations to position Sci Tech Placements as a preferred supplier.

* Prepare and present tenders, quotations, and proposals to secure new business opportunities.

* Promote positive customer service and drive sales objectives.

* Motivate sales staff and drive initiatives to reach projected sales targets.

* Assist the marketing department in developing efficient strategies.

**Key Competencies:

* Understanding the technical, quality, and delivery requirements of each assignment to meet customer expectations.

* Developing a program of management, mentoring, and training for sales staff.

* Formulating effective sales policies and procedures.

* Processing and tracking progress of orders/contracts to ensure customer satisfaction efficiently.

**Administrative Duties:

* Maintaining a robust administrative system alongside updating documentation related to tenders, quotations, client visits, and customer satisfaction reports.

* Assisting in the monthly closing of stock and sales figures.

**Marketing Duties:

* Delivering insights into market trends and strategic positioning.

* Enhancing the company's brand name and maintaining the sales function.

* Fostering a cooperative working environment with the management and peers.
