Manager of After-Sales Field Operations

We are seeking qualified and experienced individuals to take on the role of Manager of After-Sales Field Operations within our After-Sales Department.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will lead a specialized field team dedicated to after-sales, primarily focusing on achieving company and Group Parts revenue goals, as well as managing oil & tyres, body repairs, and conversions. By connecting the Group Parts Division with the dealer network through field consultations and activities at the Dealer Support Centre, we aim to establish exemplary motor dealer franchise parts departments that deliver exceptional customer satisfaction across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and set realistic sales targets through comprehensive research and dealer engagement to maximize genuine parts sales.
  • Ensure that the organization surpasses sales expectations.
  • Coordinate annual incentive trips for both Parts and Service Departments.
  • Guide the field team and dealers towards achieving set objectives.
  • Facilitate dealer consultations and feedback collection through mystery shopping and audits to address operational inquiries.
  • Organize and oversee dealer meetings, including sub-committees and launch events, providing insightful feedback on strategic matters.
  • Support all Service/Parts Dealer Training initiatives, ensuring qualified personnel are consistently at the forefront of operations.
  • Conduct follow-up discussions with underperforming dealers to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage customer survey feedback and develop action plans to address identified gaps.
  • Ensure efficient departmental operations to meet all objectives, maintain budget adherence, and support staff development.
  • Devise strategies to enhance sales performance of Homogenous Part Groups and address any declining trends.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in the insurance sector to generate leads and expand market share for the Parts division.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing Management.

Experience

  • 5-8 years of post-graduate management experience in a Sales and Marketing capacity.

Essential Skills

  • Strong understanding of financial metrics and principles, preferably within a dealer network.
  • Experience in the advertising sector.
  • Proficient in forecasting and target setting.
  • Computer literacy in QMF and MS Office is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP is essential.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills are a must.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the after-sales environment.
  • Broad exposure to Group Parts operations.
