Job Title: Director Of Bank Relationships

Our Fintech client in Cryptocurrency is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Bank Relationships to join their team.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to develop and expand long-term strategic partnerships with banks across the globe. The successful candidate will establish connections with financial institutions in financial hubs and arrange client meetings, editing and reviewing pitch materials, and exchanging NDAs and contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and expand long-term strategic partnerships with banks across the globe.
  • Establish connections with financial institutions in financial hubs such as Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Dubai, Mauritius, Luxembourg, and Gibraltar.
  • Arrange client meetings, edit and review pitch materials, and timely exchange of NDAs and contracts.
  • Compile documentation from partners in accordance with the stated due diligence requirements.
  • Keep track of all partner communications and follow-up.
  • Help identify and fix inefficiencies in current workflows and processes; assist in formulating and developing protocols to optimize and minimize risks.
  • Understand and communicate the risks and regulatory issues associated with financial institutions in financial hubs like Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Dubai, Mauritius, Luxembourg, and Gibraltar.
Requirements
  • Strong track record in business development and business networking with financial institutions.
  • Experience establishing banking relationships for a digital asset/crypto company.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize immediate short-term goals and simultaneously focus on strategic long-term goals.
  • At least 10 years of working experience in banking or related industries.
  • Analytical, critical, and creative problem-solving skills with an in-depth understanding of utilizing electronic delivery channels to meet business goals.
  • Effective and persuasive communication, including attention to detail, ability to articulate without ambiguity, and proven interpersonal skills to actively engage with cross-cultural teams.
  • Business acumen; demonstrated thorough understanding of a wide range of elements of partnerships with banks and other financial institutions.
