We are seeking an experienced Strategic Finance Director for Global Operations to oversee our financial operations and drive financial strategy within our organization. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Job Description

This position requires a highly motivated and dedicated individual with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and professional accounting qualification (CA/CIMA/ACCA/SAIPA). The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, including experience working in multinational corporations or large-scale organizations.

The successful candidate will lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, prepare and analyze financial statements, and ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. They will also develop financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses to assess financial performance and identify trends.

In addition, the Strategic Finance Director for Global Operations will establish and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and comprehensive financial plans.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards.
  • Develop financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses to assess financial performance, identify trends, and evaluate business metrics.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and professional accounting qualification (CA/CIMA/ACCA/SAIPA).
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • Experience working in multinational corporations or large-scale organizations preferred.
