About the Role

Network Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Financial Manager to join their dynamic finance team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will lead and manage all finance functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all finance functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
  • Analyze and advise on financial conditions across various operational geographies, ensuring optimal financial management strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth across the organization.
  • Oversee project accounting and audits, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with global accounting standards and tax requirements.
  • Maintain quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including project directors, the commercial director, and the CEO, to ensure the financial health of the business and its projects.
  • Provide strategic advice on cost and revenue management, including ownership of project budgets.
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for all group entities and projects.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable teams, conducting financial analysis to guide business decisions.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
  • Work closely with the CEO to manage cash flow and financial risks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualification: BCom in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Completed SAICA articles preferred.
  • Additional qualifications such as ACMA, CGMA, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Experience: 35 years in a Financial Manager / Financial Controller role.
  • Prior experience in the events/services industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience managing group financial structures is essential.
  • Minimal travel required (approximately once every 3 months for 27 days).

Compensation Package: Our estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with additional benefits.
