Claims Relationship Manager

A challenging position has become available for a Claims Relationship Manager to join our team in the Motor Claims Greater Johannesburg Region.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and control key performance indicators (KPIs) for Motor Body Repairers (MBRs), including Smart Repairs, Repair vs Replace, Normalise Cost Ratio (NCR), and Average Repair Cost (ARC).
- Ensure MBRs and Santam system compliance and maintenance, including Abuntex, Qapter Connect, AudaAudit, RPM, Parts Procurement Systems, and AudaTarget.
- Initiate, lead, and manage Supplier Performance Measurement meetings as per schedule.
- Monitor and identify trends, agree on action plans, and monitor compliance (improvement and progression).
- Train, upskill, and coach Motor Body Repairers (all staff).
- Manage supplier capacity.
- Create Weekly and Monthly Reports for feedback.
- Project and change management.
- Manage catastrophic events.
- Grade 12 and one of the following: VDQ Professional qualification, Automotive body refinisher, or Automotive Mechanic.
- Expert Abuntex user with in-depth knowledge of Abuntex products, including Qapter Connect, Auda Target (NCR), AudaInvoice, and Parts Procurement systems.
- Good business acumen and understanding of business principles (profit, loss, margin, efficiency).
- High-level knowledge of relevant repair processes and repair methods. At least 5 years' experience in assessing on a senior level.
- Management experience (advantageous).
- Supply Chain Management experience (advantageous).
- Stakeholder and Vendor Management experience (advantageous).
- Effective communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders, MBRs, and Assessors.
- Crisis management during workload changes.
- Working with people.
- Planning and organising.
- Coping with pressure and setbacks.
- High-level negotiation skills.
- Performance management.
