Job Overview

The Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA) is committed to developing the small enterprise sector through various programs and initiatives. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Receptionist in the Eastern Cape Province.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and mail, providing a positive impression of our organization.
  2. Manage day-to-day administrative tasks such as answering phones, handling correspondence, and maintaining records.
  3. Coordinate travel arrangements and schedule meetings with stakeholders.
  4. Maintain accurate records of meetings, correspondence, and other documents.
  5. Develop and implement procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our office operations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of Matric / Grade 12 / NQF 4 qualification.
  • An Office Administration Certificate would be advantageous.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience.

Essential Competencies:

  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  3. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office applications and computer literacy.
