Estate Administration Role

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Estate Administrator to join our team at Boardroom Appointments. The successful candidate will provide administrative support in estate planning and administration, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist with the drafting of Wills and maintain a comprehensive database.
  2. Schedule interviews with family members of deceased clients and the Manager as required.
  3. Open new estate files and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  4. Complete required forms on the death of a client and follow up with relevant authorities weekly.
  5. Write letters regarding assets and liabilities.
  6. Obtain valuations of assets and manage their transfer or sale.
  7. Report estates to SARS and apply for Deceased Estate Compliance Certificates.
  8. Draft payment requests for all claims filed.
  9. Liaise with family members regarding progress and provide regular updates.
