New Business Development Manager

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a highly skilled and experienced New Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our B2B Direct Business sector, you will be responsible for developing new profitable business opportunities in line with our company's growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth in the B2B Direct Business sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the mining, industrial, construction, and fleet sectors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business development decisions.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the petrochemical and energy industry, including knowledge of B2B Lubricants supply and Syspro.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage sales pipelines, track customer interactions, and analyze sales performance.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on business development progress and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a proven track record of business development in the B2B sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing time effectively.
