Job Title: Client Services Manager: Banking
Job Summary
This role is responsible for acquiring and delivering banking solutions to high-value clients. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to understand client business and household needs.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Acquiring and delivering banking solutions to high-value clients
- Improving client service through relevant product and service delivery
- Maintaining and building a portfolio of high-value clients
- Uncovering client sales and solution opportunities and executing on them
- Undertaking thorough needs analysis across clients' financial influence
- Responding to tasks and responsibilities within agreed timelines
- Building professional relationships with high-value clients
- Delivering banking solutions that meet client needs
- Understanding clients' business, personal, and household needs
- Building sound and sustainable client relationships and instilling trust in Nedbank
- Engaging clients in a manner relevant to their circumstances
- Collaborating with specialists to cross-sell and create value-based solutions
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4-5 years of relationship management experience in the financial sector
- 2 years of relationship banker experience
- 2-3 years of business acquisition experience
- Experience in sales and deal origination related to corporate client portfolios in a banking or financial services environment
Technical / Professional Knowledge
The ideal candidate will have:
- Microsoft Office
- Interpersonal skills and client relationship management
- Business writing and business terms
- Relevant regulatory knowledge
- Data analysis and business acumen
- Decision-making process and financial management principles
- Governance, risk, and controls
