  • Assisting residents with personal care and continence needs, ensuring their dignity and individuality are maintained at all times.
  • Closely monitoring residents during the night and undertaking regular checks to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Supporting residents with eating and drinking, promoting independence and nutrition.
  • Ensuring the home environment is safe, clean, and tidy at all times, adhering to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Completing accurate care records and reporting any changes in residents' condition to the person in charge, maintaining open communication and transparency.

Requirements:

  • Able to work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues and residents.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • Prior experience in care of older people preferred but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
